Summary. The purpose of the study is to analyze the design developments (mainly in USA) on automation and robotization of medical evacuation of victims in emergency situations and directions for their improvement.
Materials and methods of research. The review and analysis of available Internet resources devoted to automation and robotization of evacuation of victims in emergency situations has been carried out.
The results of the study and their analysis. The article reveals the path to automate the provision of medical care to victims, the first steps of which may be passive data collection and automated documentation of assistance. The existing and developing robotic systems for searching and extracting victims from lesions are considered. Fully autonomous medical care for injuries is considered as a perspective. Automation and robotization should be applied to providing assistance to victims in order to increase the efficiency and optimize the capabilities of the medical care system in the context of a multi-domain struggle against the consequences of accidents, catastrophes and emergency situations.
