Summary. The goal – to assess the psychophysiological condition of the secondary medical personnel of military medical institutions in peacetime.

Materials and methods. A study of psychophysiological parameters and their impact on the performance of 600 nurses from three groups of military medical institutions belonging to the area of responsibility of the Saratov garrison: surgical, therapeutic and emergency departments with paraclinical units.

Conclusion

The conducted research shows that the work intensity of nurses in military medical institutions affects the psychophysiological performance, which is most pronounced among nurses in the surgical department and the emergency department with paraclinical units. The opposite results were obtained in the therapeutic department, the psychophysiological performance is increased before the start of the work shift and decreases after it ends, all this can lead to nervous overstrain and the occurrence of various diseases.
