Specialists of the Federal State Budgetary Institution State Scientific Center FMBC named after A.I. Burnazyan FMBA of Russia took part in the 23rd All-Russian Scientific and Practical Congress with international participation “Emergency Medical Care-2024”.

In accordance with the plan of scientific and practical events, on June 13–14, 2024, the 23rd All-Russian Scientific and Practical Congress with international participation “Emergency Medical Care-2024” was held in St. Petersburg. During the congress, the following topics were raised, the state and prospects for the development of emergency medical services in Russia; logistics and principles of routing patients in need of emergency medical care at the regional and federal levels; the concept of a three-level system for organizing the provision of medical care; unresolved issues of medical, including sanitary aviation, evacuation – legislative justification, financial support, content, methodology, technical equipment; readiness of emergency medical services and the Disaster Medicine Service to operate in emergency situations of a biological, social and military nature, etc.

From the Federal State Budgetary Institution State Scientific Center FMBC named after. A.I. Burnazyan FMBA of Russia at the plenary session, Deputy General Director, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Chief Freelance Specialist in Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia Sergei Fedorovich Goncharov made a report. The topic of the report is “Improving the system of medical and evacuation support for victims of emergencies: the state and prospects for development using unmanned aerial vehicles.”

Specialists from the Center for Air Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care took part in a joint meeting of the specialized commissions of the FMBA and the Russian Ministry of Health for emergency medical care and disaster medicine, at which issues of improving the legal regulation of emergency medical care, including specialized emergency medical care, and medical evacuation.
