Abstract. It is noted that the annexation of new territories to Moscow has led to the need to provide medical care to a much larger number of patients than before. The growth of the territory also led to an increase in the time of medical evacuation of patients to specialized hospitals and showed the obvious advantage of helicopter technology over ground ambulance transport.
In order to improve the efficiency of medical evacuation of patients, a pilot project was launched in 2015, according to which air medical teams were sent by medical helicopter to the new territories of Moscow not only to patients with injuries sustained in road accidents, but also to patients with acute coronary syndrome and acute cerebral circulation disorder.
The article presents the organization of sanitary aviation evacuation (SAE) of patients with acute coronary syndrome and acute cerebral circulation disorders. The conclusion is made about the expediency and effectiveness of SAE of such patients to vascular Centres.
Key words: acute cerebrovascular disorder, acute coronary syndrome, air medical teams, helicopters, pilot project, sanitary aviation evacuation, vascular Centres
