Abstract. The issues of training of senior personnel for regional centers of emergency medical care and disaster medicine and territorial centers for disaster medicine are considered.

The new program “Organization of Work of the Territorial Center for Disaster Medicine”, developed by experts of the All-Russian Center for disaster medicine “Zaschita”, approved at the field cycle on training of Heads (Deputy heads) of Regional Centers for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine and Territorial Centers for Disaster Medicine (TCDM) from 20 regions, held on November 11–16, 2019 on the basis of TCDM of Sverdlovsk Region is presented.

It is noted that the training included 3 blocks of classes:

– the 1st block – methodological study of the organization of the Service for disaster medicine of the Ministry of health of Russia at the regional level in modern conditions;

– the 2nd block – methodological study of the organization of work of the Regional Centers for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine;

– the 3rd block – methodological and practical study of the issues of ensuring the preparedness of the Regional Centers for actions in emergency situations.
