A brief overview of the formation and development of the Irkutsk Regional Center for disaster medicine for 20 years is presented.
The main directions of the activity of the Center are considered: the organization of the Service for disaster medicine of the Irkutsk region; liquidation of medical and sanitary consequences of emergency situations; participation in the implementation of the priority project of development of sanitary aviation, etc.
