Functioning of Emergency Hospital Complexes in a Metropolitan Area in the Context of Dynamic Medical Evacuation of Victims in Emergency Situations

Summary. The objective of this study is to substantiate the need to establish modern emergency inpatient complexes in Moscow for the urgent hospitalization of victims of emergencies.
Research materials and methods. The study was conducted based on an analysis of emergency situation trends and the proportion of emergency hospitalizations in Moscow from 2018 to 2022, as well as an analysis of the advantages of emergency inpatient complexes over conventional hospitals.
Research results and analysis. The study analyzed the trends in emergency situations in the city from 2018 to 2022 and presented indicators of emergency medical care visits to Moscow’s specialized medical institutions. A review of Moscow’s territorial districts was conducted, identifying priority criteria for selecting medical institutions for emergency inpatient complexes construction, briefly describing them, and discussing their advantages.
