Optimization of functional status, preservation and rehabilitation of physical and mental health, the prolongation of professional longevity of specialists of EMERCOM of Russia is an important task of the psychological service of the ministry. The implementation of a comprehensive program of psychological correction “Shield”, aimed at optimizing the functional state of specialists, may be one of the possible solutions of the task. The implementation of the program will improve: the functional state of the nervous system and the overall performance, functional state and reserves of the cardiovascular system, general physical capabilities and subjective assessment of the psychological and somatic state of the subjects.
