The organization of sanitary aviation evacuation in the Republic of Komi is presented. It is noted that the presence of remote areas, low population density, underdeveloped road network result in a high need for the use of air transport for sanitary aviation evacuation in the territory of the Republic of Komi and beyond. The data characterizing the activity of the territorial center for disaster medicine in the area of medical evacuation are presented. The criteria of medical evacuation outside the territory of the Republic of Komi at the expense of its budget are defined.
