The relevance of the problem of chemical accidents and of the elimination of their health and sanitary consequences is noted. The specificity of human toxic injuries in chemical emergencies is demonstrated. The necessary work load for the provision of emergency medical care (EMC) to those affected in chemical emergencies is identified, in particular, a conceptual step-by-step scheme for organizing the provision of medical care to people affected in chemical accidents is presented.
