The main issues on the agenda of the conference of Collaborating centers of the World Health Organization on emergency situations are presented: the activity of the WHO Collaborating center at the Karolinska Institute (Sweden); the experience of work of medical international emergency response teams; tasks of WHO in the field of coordination of humanitarian assistance delivery in large-scale emergencies; mass events as a factor of increasing number of victims in possible emergencies, etc.
